Another song with autobiographical roots, this one reflects my initial fear of becoming a father because of my awareness that I often have a very short fuse. As it turns out, becoming a father helped me to discover depths of patience, but I still have my fiery moments. This song is my vow to try to keep it all under control, to keep from hurting the ones I love the most. I'm not perfect, but that will never do as an excuse.
